On 18 November, after that Forza Italia collected the signatures of more than 7 million (NOT TRUE, THIS IS A LIE) Italians (among them Umberto Bossi) against the Romano Prodi's government and in order to ask to the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano fresh elections, Berlusconi announced that Forza Italia will soon merge or transform into the Freedom People's Party.
What this will exactly mean for Forza Italia is unclear.
